    For over 30 years as an school district security coordinator, high school administrator, educator, and consultant, Dr. Nocera has been at the forefront of school crisis management, school safety, and emergency preparedness. He has served as a school district crisis management coordinator for over 15 years establishing interagency collaboration with local schools, law enforcement, as well as with state and federal agencies.  Dr. Nocera has been an active trainer of law enforcement, educators, and other first responders.

    As both a practitioner and researcher, Dr. Nocera has offered expert testimony to legislators at the state and national level. Additionally, he has been a frequent presenter at state and national professional development activities. His professional insights, as both an educator and collaborator with law enforcement and juvenile justice agencies, continue to be sought after.
